Orthodox church candles

Our Orthodox church candles are made from 100% pure beeswax, the traditional substance for candles used in Orthodox churches. Pure beeswax candles burn with an aromatic fragrance like that of honey. They are crafted by repeated dipping until the desired thickness has been achieved. By such dipping we obtain slender candles which nevertheless burn for a considerable time. These candles are also less apt to drip than candles cast in molds and, unlike paraffin candles, beeswax candles do not produce a smoky film. Our candles are therefore especially recommended to churches with extensive mural icons or frescos.
